Issues with syncing outlook

Issue: mailbox is not accessible from new Outlook on Mac and Outlook on IOS.

Solution: Add a shared mailbox to Outlook mobile and Set up email with Outlook for iOS.

To access a shared mailbox on a mobile device, use the following steps. 

1. Sign in to your primary account in Outlook for iOS or Android.
2. Tap the Add Account button in the left navigation pane, then tap Add a Shared Mailbox. 
3. If you have multiple accounts in Outlook Mobile, select the account that has permissions to access the shared mailbox. 
4. After the account setup process completes, the shared mailbox will display in your account list in Outlook for iOS.

To remove a shared mailbox, use the following steps.

Go to Settings Accounts. Then tap on the shared mailbox and select Delete Account.

To Set up email with Outlook for iOS, use the following steps.

1. Open Outlook for iOS.
2. Open the collapsed menu in the upper left corner.
3. Tap Settings Outlook app settings > Add Account > Add Email Account.
4. Type your full email address, then tap Add Account.
5. Enter your email account password and tap Sign In.
6. Tap Yes or Allow to give Outlook permission to sync calendar, contacts, etc.
7. Swipe through the intro and you're now ready to use Outlook for iOS.

To Set up email with iOS Mail app.

1. Go to your device's Settings, scroll down and select Mail > Accounts >Add Account.
2. Select Exchange.
3. Enter your Microsoft 365 email address, and a description of your account. Select Next.
4. Select Sign In.
5. The Mail app may request certain permissions. Select Accept.
6. Choose the services you want to sync with your iOS device and select Save. You’re done.
7. Enter the password associated with your email account. Select Sign in.
